Account PolicyEligibilityCS accounts are created for students enrolled in CS courses for the purpose of providing access to Departmental lab resources that support teaching and learning in computer science. The Department reserves the right to disable and/or remove accounts for individuals who are no longer affiliated with the Department. Any student who takes a CS course (with the exception of CS 1000, 1020, and 1030) receives a CSnetID account to access the CS course web. This is referred to as course web level access. If you are not a CS major, but are enrolled in upper-division CS courses, you may request access to specific services needed for your classes (if any). Your access will remain active while enrolled in these courses only. Procedure for Account SetupTo have your account setup for full CS lab access, you should see Ms. Alex Young. She will:
Normally, we will have your account setup within 1 - 2 days. You will also be added to the CS lab portal site in Moodle that provides resources, information, and announcements about using the CS laboratory environment. |
