The Department is a subscriber of the MSDNAA program. This program provides the Department and its students with most Microsoft operating system platforms, development tools, and server products at no charge for educational use.
Declared CS majors taking CS 1302 and/or upper-division CS courses (including CS graduate students) are eligible to get MSDNAA software. Software can be checked out from Ms. Alex Young.
Funded by the Student Technology Fee, the MCA provides all UWG students with certain Microsoft software at no cost. For more information, please visit the MCA for Students website. Please note, this program is managed by Student Information Technology Services (SITS), not the Department of Computer Science.
The University currently has a site-license for Symantec Anti-Virus that includes licensing for UWG students to download and install the software on their personal machines (Windows only) at no cost to the student. All students are encouraged to take advantage of this (especially if you use your PC or laptop on campus)!
For instructions on how to download and install the software, visit TechLife.
