csX and csXcore Tutoring LabsThese labs serve as the home of the Department's csX peer-tutoring program. More information about csX and current hours of operation is available on the csX home page. Both of these labs are located on the first floor of the TLC, down the hall from the vending machine area. csX Lab (TLC 1-115)During the scheduled hours of operation for csX, student staff are available in the lab to assist students with the introductory course sequence for CS majors (CS 1300, 1301, and 1302; as well as the graduate introductory sequence, CS 5201 and 5202). This lab includes multi-media capabilities for group discussions, tutoring, and presentations. This lab is also available to students in CS 1300, 1301, and 1302 via CS card access. Equipment
This lab's computers were upgraded with new workstations in August 2005, with funding provided by the Student Technology Fee. csXcore Lab (TLC 1-118)csXcore is a resource center for students in the Department's computer literacy course offerings. During its scheduled hours of operation, student staff are available to help students with specific questions and assignments in these courses. This lab has 3 workstations and 1 laser printer. |
