The Department will be offering a graduate special topics course for the Spring ‘05 semester. The course will be taught by a new CS faculty member for the Spring, Dr. Lewis Baumstark

CS 6985: Reverse Engineering: Survey of Techniques and Tools

Description: Reverse Engineering: A survey of techniques and tools for software reverse engineering. Emphasis will be on practical applications, i.e., using reverse engineering principles to aid software development and maintenance. Topics include program representations, design recovery, static and dynamic program analysis, and program, database, and user interface reverse engineering.

Pre-requisites: CS5202 or equivalent.

Credits: 3

Meets Mondays and Wednesdays 5:30 pm – 6:45 pm.
