CS students to present research at Sigma Xi competition

March 9 - On Thursday, March 10, two of our CS undergraduates will give a presentation at the Sigma Xi Student Research Paper Competition, and one of our CS graduate students will present a poster.

Ben Browning, a CS undergrad, will give a presentation entitled "Solving the Intractable" at 1:30pm in room 205 of Callaway. His faculty advisor for this work is Dr. Anja Remshagen.

Thomas Riley, a CS undergrad, will give a presentation entitled "Automatic Extraction of Proper Name Information from Newswire Text" at 3:45pm in room 205 of Callaway. His faculty advisor for this work is Dr. Muhammad Rahman?.

Chairat Tanpisut, a CS grad student, will present a poster on "Knowledge Representation for a Domain Specific Knowledge Base" at 5:30pm in the Humanities building lobby. His advisor for this work is Dr. Muhammad Rahman?.

Everyone is invited to attend these presentations.
