Aug 16 - Krasimir Dimov (B.S. '05), a CS alum who graduated this past spring, has received the prestigious Jack Mangham Scholarship Award. The scholarship is given by the Georgia Association for Colleges and Employers (GACE).
Krasimir, who is from Bulgaria, speaks several languages, and says he always enjoyed math and CS "because they are logical", graduated with honors with a B.S. in Computer Science, and recently passed the Microsoft Certified Professional exams.
During his time at UWG, he received several other awards, including the James E. Boyd Award (recognizing outstanding students in math and science), the Student Excellence Convocation Award, and was inducted into Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the international honor society for computing sciences. He was also a student in the Honors College.
