Minor in Computer ScienceFor undergraduate students majoring in other disciplines who wish to gain additional knowledge and skills in computer science, the Department offers a minor in computer science, consisting of at least 15 hours of CS courses. Note: Students minoring in CS must complete all applicable prerequisites for courses included in the minor. For course prerequisites please reference our Prerequisite Flow Chart. Please note that several prerequisite changes have been made effective starting with the Fall 2010 semester and are not reflected in the current 09-10 Undergraduate Catalog. The flow chart, as well as the list of requirements below, do include these changes. Requirements (Effective Fall 2010)The requirements for a minor in CS have changed, effective for the Fall 2010 semester. These changes will be reflected in the next Undergraduate Catalog (2010 - 2011).
AdvisementThe Department recommends that students who have questions about, are interested in, or are actively pursuing a minor in computer science contact the Department's advisor, Ms. Alexandra Young, before registering for any CS courses. |
